Twin Lakes Family YMCA (Cedar Park) - Department Updates
FALL I PROGRAM SESSION
Fall classes for some of your favorite six-week programs at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA are gearing up, which means it’s time to register for the Fall I Program Session. Included in this session, which runs from Sept. 13-Oct. 22, are new classes for:
- Boot Camp
- Teens N' Training (TNT)
- Jr. Boot Camp
- Lego Mind Storms NXT
- Jr. Lego Robotics
- Pre-Ballet I & II
- Dance Combo
- Baby Bumper Gymnastics
- Gymnastics
- Lean Body Challenge
- Ballet, Jazz & Tap
- Tennis
Registration for YMCA Members begins on Aug. 7, while Open Registration kicks off on Aug. 14. Hurry in to the Member Services Desk to sign up early as space fills fast. The deadline to sign up for these great six-week classes is Sept. 12.
GYMNASTICS, DANCE & CHEER 2010-2011
It’s time to sign up for a new season of Gymnastics, Dance & Cheer classes at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA! All of your favorite programs in each discipline are back, so make sure to register early as space will fill quickly. While YMCA Family Member registration is ongoing, open registration kicks off on Aug. 7. Classes for the 2010-2011 season run from September through May. POOL RENTALS
Need a fun and cool place to have your party this summer? Well, how about the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Pool! That’s right … on Saturdays (6:00 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. – 9:50 p.m.) and Sundays (6:00 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.) from May 29 – September 19, the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Pool is available for rental. Take your party to new heights by inviting your family and friends to enjoy our beautiful kid-friendly pool area, which is complete with waterslides, a splash pad and more. Cost for the one hour and 50 minute rental slot for a maximum party size of 45 people is only $150 for YMCA Members or $200 for Non-Members. Slots fill fast, so make sure to sign up early at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Member Services Desk (512-250-9622). TEEN MIDNIGHT MADNESS
Hey teens ... are you looking to find something fun and different to do on a Friday night? Well, the Twin Lakes Family YMCA has the answer for you with Midnight Madness! Held on the first Friday each month from 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. and open to students between the ages of 10-15 years, Midnight Madness provides a different theme or focus each month while offering dancing, DDR, basketball, volleyball, video games, karaoke tournaments, card games, concessions, pool, foosball, raffle prizes and more.For only $7 per person at the door, it’s an easy solution to pick up a boring Friday night.
