Family Membership (M)

A Y Family Membership at your home branch allows full use of our facility as well as all other YMCA of Greater Williamson County facilities. This membership includes FREE Child Care while exercising, FREE Youth Sports Leagues registration (does not include required Game Plan Uniform Package fee), one FREE Family Friday per month (off-site child care for which reservations are required), REDUCED fees and PRIORITY registration for classes and programs. Please note that you must remain a Y Family member during the entire length of programs/classes in which you are enrolled in order to receive the FREE or reduced rate.

Family Membership - General Information

Non-Membership (NM)

Allows individuals access to classes and/or programs at a nominal fee – such as sports, aquatics and fitness – without being a Y Member.

Corporate Membership (CM)

As a Y Corporate Member, you will enjoy all of the benefits of Y membership at a reduced cost. For more information on how to arrange a corporate membership account for your business and what it will mean for your employees, please contact the Member Services Desk.

Volunteers - General Information

On-site Programming

The Y can also hold on-site classes/programs, including fitness testing, body-fat testing, blood pressure evaluation, weight management, nutrition and more, at your place of work. Please contact the Member Services Desk for more information.

Guest Policy

We welcome your participation as a guest in our facility (minors between ages 17 and under must have parents present to sign our guest waiver, we require a copy of the parents/guardians ID and signature) – whether or not you are a member of another Y association. As a membership organization, guest privileges are our way of introducing an individual to the Y. All guests must be accompanied at all times by a current Y member and are provided access to the fitness, sports and aquatics areas only. Current Y members are allowed to bring one guest per visit and are permitted a total of three guests per calendar year. No Child-Care available.

Note: Visitor day use fees may be credited to your first month’s membership if you join the Y.

Financial Assistance

The Y provides financial assistance so that no person shall be denied membership or program participation by reason of inability to pay. All requests for such assistance are kept strictly confidential. Funds for financial assistance are provided through our Annual Campaign. For more information, please stop by the Member Services Desk.

Child Watch

We offer child care as a FREE service to our Y Family Members. Family Member parents are welcome to bring their children (6wks-12yrs) to the Nursery/Toddlers (6wks-3yrs), Kids Gym (fully potty trained 3-7yrs), or The Zone (8-12yrs) while they work out or attend a group exercise class. Notably, Y Family Members receive two hours per child per day in the Nursery and Toddler or three hours per child per day in either the Kids Gym or The Zone. The hours of operation for these Child Watch areas are as follows:

Note: While working out in the facility, other programs such as children’s swim lessons, martial arts, dance classes, and youth sports leagues/classes do not fall under our Child Watch guidelines. We are; however, able to offer the use of off-site hours for Y Family Members on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Child Watch hours for a nominal fee. These hours should be pre-purchased in order for our leadership to secure adequate staff to care for your child.

Note: No peanut or tree nut products are permitted in Child Watch areas or programs.

We also offer a state-of-the art workout facility with top-of-the-line cardiovascular and strength training equipment for women only called “The Loft”. Did you play sports as a youngster? Do you remember the first experience you had being part of a team? Would you like to pass on the same positive experience you had to the youth of today? Then, we need you as a volunteer coach at the Y! We are always in need of great coaches willing to make a difference in the lives of our community children. Your time is our most valuable asset. Annual Campaign

Our Annual Campaign, which provides funds for financial assistance scholarships, is central to the Y mission. By giving, you can help make sure that every boy and girl as well as their family can participate in life-enriching programs through the Y – regardless of their ability to pay. Every dollar you contribute makes a meaningful difference in the lives of families we serve and helps us give kids the power of values, so that they can grow up to become productive adults. One hundred percent of every dollar goes directly to children and families in need based on income, family size and economic circumstance. By pledging your gift and paying it throughout the year, you can assist more children.

Junior Lego Robotics - Youth Development

Youth Development


The goal of our after school program is to ensure safety for children (K-5th grade) while promoting healthy physical and emotional growth, assisting working families and inspiring children to learn. We strive to help each child reach their full potential by offering a positive and enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership and cooperative spirit. We offer care after school until 6:30pm and all-day care on most school holidays, including summer, at convenient school sites throughout Williamson County. Mother's Day Out - Youth Development

Child Development Center (CDC)

Licensed by the Department of Family and Protective Services and residing in Round Rock, this program is specifically designed to meet the needs of preschool children (18mo-5yrs). We strive to provide each child with positive and stimulating activities within a nurturing Christian atmosphere. Through a well-balanced curriculum, our program promotes positive self-concepts, creative development, intellectual challenge, cooperation and respect for one another. Children are provided with a nourishing breakfast, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack as part of our program. Free Family Fridays

One Friday each month, from 4-8pm*, parents, who are Y Members, can drop off their children (6wks-12yrs) for a free evening of fun while they enjoy an early dinner or just fulfill other obligations. Space is limited and only one of these programs is allotted per month to each family. Of note, parents must sign up in advance for the evening (holiday weekends are excluded) that they plan to have their children attend.
*Purchase an extra hour for $5 per child from 8pm-9pm. The extra hour must be purchased prior to noon.

Child Watch - General Information

Kids & Teens Night Out

It’s 9pm on a Saturday night … do you know where your kids (6wks-12yrs) are? Of course you do! They’re eating pizza, playing games and making friends at the Y during this monthly evening event. Children in attendance should wear comfortable clothing (including socks), and bring their own blankets, pillow and/or wear pajamas.

**Purchase an extra hour for $5 Y Members/$8 Non Members per child from 10pm-11pm. The extra hour must be purchased prior to noon.

Offered twice each week and following the local school district calendar, this program provides the building blocks of learning for young children. Our curriculum includes art, story time, science and special activities.

This pay by the day program lets kids (6wks-Pre-K) enjoy a morning filled with fun while parents take care of errands or enjoy time to rejuvenate. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Birthday Parties

Is your child’s birthday party around the corner? Well, don’t worry … you can actually enjoy the big day this year by letting the Y put together your party and take care of all the details from beginning to end. With a wide variety of options to choose from, the Y is the place to be for your next birthday.

Lego Mindstorms NXT

This program lets children (8-13yrs) work within a four-person team in order to build and program a robot that can complete a series of challenges. Groups will also compete against each other and face new challenges each week during their two-hour class.

Junior Lego Robotics

This program allows children (6-8yrs) to work on robotics challenges within the same theme as the older children enrolled in the Lego Mindstorms NXT program, but with an age-appropriate skill level during their one-hour class.

Young Chefs in Training

Does your child love to cook? Are you constantly looking for fun and healthy recipes that your kids will love? This six-week program will provide your child (6-12yrs) with valuable skills in the kitchen along with the knowledge to prepare delicious healthy snacks and meals on their own as well as for the entire family. Classes will focus on basic cooking and baking skills while also providing valuable information on how to choose healthy meal and snack options.

Young Chefs in Training - Youth Development

Babysitting Certification

Our two-part course takes teens (8-13yrs) through all elements of becoming a well-trained babysitter in order to handle situations that may arise when taking care of children. The course starts out by teaching the basics of handling children, changing diapers, feedings, rescue breathing and general safety rules. Students will also learn to build a resume and how to manage their babysitting business. The second part of the course takes students through the Red Cross First Aid/CPR training for babies and young children. Once both parts of the course are completed, students will then be tested in order to obtain certification.

Lifeguard Certification

Ever want to learn the skills to save a life? With our Y Lifeguard Certification Courses you can do just that. Participants will learn lifeguarding skills, how to perform CPR on an adult, child and infant, how to use an AED, and necessary first-aid skills. Those looking to become certified must be 16 years old by the last day of the class. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will be certified in Y Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Basic First Aid & Oxygen Administration.

CPR and First Aid Training - Healthy Living

Swim Instructor Training

Gain the knowledge and apply the skills necessary to become a certified instructor during our Swim Instructor Training classes. Participants must be 16 years of age by the last day of class, have their certifications in CPR Pro, First Aid, AED & Oxygen Administration current, be proficient in four strokes, tread water for two minutes and be able to perform six synchronized swimming skills as well as perform a standing dive off the pool deck and dribble, pass, catch & shoot a ball while swimming.

Gain the knowledge and apply the skills necessary to become a certified instructor during our Swim Instructor Training classes.

CPR & First Aid Training

Through this training you will not only be given the skills necessary to provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrive, but will also learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants to adults.

Teen Night Live

Open to all teens in 5th-8th grade, this event, which is held at the Y, is built exclusively around and for teens! Held on one Saturday each month from 7-10pm, this special event has an admission price of only $5 per person at the door and is without question the place to be on Saturdays. While we will have dancing (with a DJ on-site), there will also be inflatables and swimming included among our activities for the evening. You will also be able to purchase concessions in addition to raffle tickets for a chance at some great prizes.

Wiggle Worms - Youth Development

Summer Camp

Bringing back many memories to campers both young and old, Summer Camp is a powerful experience that can strengthen the values that you as parents are teaching daily. Whether it’s through swimming or arts & crafts, through field trips or sports, or through various outdoor/indoor adventure activities, Y Summer Camp counselors have allowed kids to be kids and stay safe during the heat of the summer.
At the YMCA of Greater Williamson County, we offer a wide array of camp options to meet ever child’s needs throughout the summer months. From Outdoor Adventure Camps to Excursion Camps, Specialty Camps and Kinder Camps – we have it all! And each of our camps is designed to make summer fun, exciting, convenient and safe while focusing on the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith.
Offered at a number of convenient locations throughout Williamson County, our camps run weekdays from when school lets out for the year (May-June) to when it begins anew (Aug.). Y Start

This one-of-a-kind workout program is designed to help you get back on track with your exercise plan. As a valued Y Member, this FREE program will provide you with the tools, structure and guidance you need to make exercise a part of your everyday life. As a program participant, you’ll receive: weekly fitness consultant meetings (4); wellness, fitness and exercise-life balance discussions; small group workout sessions with Y staff (3); weigh-ins, blood pressure checks & body fat tests; a personalized exercise plan; flexible & convenient appointment times; and a graduation gift upon completion.

CXWORX - Healthy Living

Equipment Orientation

The Y offers a wide variety of fitness equipment in order to cater to your every exercise need. From cardiovascular to strength training, you will find what you need to live a healthy lifestyle. With such a wide range of equipment at your disposal, we offer this free orientation to help familiarize you with our entire fitness facility in order to make your workouts more efficient and effective.

Free Weight Orientation

Whether you are tired of using the strength training equipment, want to take your weight routine to the next level or have been in the free weight area but aren’t sure if you are doing things correctly, this orientation class is for you! Let our fitness staff move you from the weight machines into the free weight room with ease and confidence. This one-time, one-hour class will get you started using free weights and have you seeing immediate changes in both your body and metabolism from your new workouts. 1 hour with a personal trainer at the regular PT session rate.

Free Weight Orientation - Healthy Living

Fitness Assessments

The Y offers these assessments to members using the National Y Fitness Testing protocol. A personal trainer will review the results with you and help develop a personalized exercise plan to meet your goals. Testing includes a resting heart rate and blood pressure check, body fat composition, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, abdominal strength and endurance, upper body strength and endurance, and an exercise prescription.

Personal Training sessions are for anyone interested in learning how to make the most of their workouts.


The Y offers a number of FREE Group Exercise Classes (for members and day-use facility participants) each week to help you maximize your workout and achieve your fitness goals through the strength of a group. We also offer a number of Small Group Fitness Classes for an additional fee. All of our group exercise classes are ongoing, so you can start at any time! Les Mills’ original barbell class. This one-hour workout strengthens your entire body by challenging all of your major muscle groups with the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight will inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Of note, no entry is permitted once class begins.

PumpStart - Healthy Living


This 30-minute class will review all of the fundamentals of weight-lifting with regard to positions, weight selection and structure of class, while also giving you some time to practice. This is a great intro class for those who are new to weight-lifting, have never tried BODYPUMP™ or those who need to brush up on technique.


This is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. Your instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout- challenging your limits in a good way, and leaving you with a sense of achievement.


This Les Mills program combines moves and stances developed from a range of self-defense disciplines such as karate, boxing, Tai Chi and kickboxing. It is a fiercely energetic experience taught in a safe and simplistic manner. Designed to fight fat and kick calories, it is a great cardiovascular workout that’s all out fun for one hour.


This Les Mills program is the ultimate way to give your body a high-energy cardio blast that tones the hips and thighs by utilizing a height-adjustable step. With over 6,000 steps occurring during each one-hour session, you’ll see results in record time.


This 30-minute express class of Les Mills’ BODYSTEP™ program is for those looking for a high-intensity kick during the middle of the week.


This Les Mills program allows you to get in shape at your own pace with a low-impact, group fitness workout that leaves you fizzing with energy. Using VIVE balls and VIVE tubes, you choose the intensity that works for you over your one-hour session.


This Les Mills program, which is based on cutting-edge scientific research, is the ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. With dynamic training that hones in on your abs, glutes, back, obliques and ‘slings’, which connect the upper and lower body, this 30-minute workout will leave you looking good and feeling strong.


This Les Mills program incorporates cycling, choreography and motivational coaching techniques to give you a completely safe aerobic adrenaline experience. It’s the ultimate indoor ride! Get in the zone for your 50-minute session and find out why this class is completely addictive. Of note, no entry is allowed once class has begun.


This 35-minute express class of Les Mills’ RPM™ program provides participants with a high-intensity indoor cycling challenge. With less warm up and recovery time, you will experience five working tracks and a cool down in just over half an hour. Please bring a water bottle and towel with you to class and no entry is allowed once class has started.

RPM Express - Healthy Living


This 30-minute class will teach you everything you need to know to be successful in RPM™ by beginning with the fundamentals, such as bike setup and proper positions, before moving into an actual ride. It is a great class for those who have never tried RPM™ or those who aren’t quite ready for a 50-minute ride. Of note, you will want to bring a water bottle and towel with you and no entry is permitted once class has started.


This one-hour class is designed to focus on lengthening and strengthening the “powerhouse muscles”; the core muscles. It is a great class to increase flexibility and balance as well.

Pilates - Healthy Living

Beginner Yoga

This 75-minute, slow-moving, restorative class offers participants a chance to explore and refine the basic postures, breathing techniques and mind-body connections of yoga. This class is perfect for beginners, physical therapy patients and regular SilverSneakers® YogaStretch practitioners who wish to grow their practice. Of note, we do recommend that you bring your own yoga mat to class.

Power Yoga

This vigorous one-hour class uses deep breathing and flowing movements to invigorate, detox and heal the spirit, mind and body. Be sure to prepare for some challenging sequences and an overall great workout that builds core strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. Beginners are welcome. Of note, we do recommend that you bring your own yoga mat to class.

Power Yoga - Healthy Living


This heart-racing, muscle-pumping, Latin-inspired class is a great time that gets great results … including a high-calorie burn and an awesome core workout. Over your one-hour class, you will not only enjoy a great workout, but great music while learning cool dance moves. If you want to have fun and get fit too, this is the class for you.

Zumba - Healthy Living

New Member Group Fitness Intro Class

We realize that starting a new fitness program can be a bit overwhelming. With that in mind, we offer this six-week program to our new members in order to provide some guidance and find success while participating in a wide-range of our group exercise classes. As you increase your fitness level over the six weeks of this program, you will add both time and classes to your schedule. Schedule an appointment at the fitness desk on the main fitness floor.

This Les Mills program features three unique team training focuses that will push you to your max and beyond. With your coach right down on the floor with you, you won’t believe how hard you can work out. Your 30 minutes of intense challenge established by your motivating and certified coach will be set to explosive music to send your energy levels through the roof!

GRIT SERIES - Healthy Living

Beast Boot Camp

This outdoor boot camp will incorporate untraditional fitness training methods along with additional strength training by using tires, ropes and physical challenges. Beast Boot Camp is designed to make you dig deep, build your fitness, and break free from a normal weight/floor workout.

Women’s Only Interval Classes

This class is for any woman who’s looking for a great total body workout combined with fitness education in a more private setting. During your one-hour, you will alternate stations of weights and cardio while utilizing equipment in the women’s-specific gym (The Loft) to burn calories and build lean muscle. You’ll also learn about what other things you should be doing throughout the week to reach your fitness goals. Each class also consists of a warm-up, a cool down and stretching.

SH'ABAM - Healthy Living

Y Ready Circuit Classes

This entry level group training class is perfect for those transitioning from Y start, fitness floor equipment or a personal trainer to their own workouts or group fitness classes. It is the perfect class for those who are not ready for or do no prefer a large group setting; or for those wanting to learn more about fundamental moves and fitness along with lifting their cardiovascular threshold and building strength, stability and flexibility. Led by a personal trainer or group fitness instructor this class will provide you with simple, functional movements, clear direction on technique and equipment in conjunction with multi-level instruction given throughout the class. 1 hour. Group Exercise and Small Group Fitness - Healthy Living

TRX Suspension Training

This revolutionary total-body fitness program uses gravity against an individual’s own body weight to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously while using the TRX Suspension Trainer – a highly portable performance training tool that is suspended from an anchor point on the wall, ceiling, tree or park swing. This class is all core all the time.

TRX Suspension Training - Healthy Living

Small Group Pilates

This specialized group class is for both men and women interested in having a more private and smaller group Pilates experience. There will be more one-on-one time with the instructor and opportunities to ask questions. Pilates is safe and rehabilitative for people with back pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, scoliosis and limited flexibility. Our focus will be on correct exercise technique while moving through a series of different mat exercises that engage the body’s “powerhouse” muscle groups – the abdominals, back, buttocks and thighs. Progressions and modifications will be offered, in addition to the optional use of equipment. Pilates develops core strength, movement efficiency, increased coordination and integration of body and mind!

Small Group Pilates - Healthy Living

FIT X-Treme

This high intermediate to advanced non-stop, powerhouse workout will challenge your muscles in a whole new way. You will use a variety of tools and your workout will be different every class.


SilverSneakers Classes concentrate on improving strength and flexibility so daily living activities become easier. It’s a fun way to stay in shape and increase social interaction. As the nation’s leading exercise program designed exclusively for older adults, SilverSneakers engages members and helps keep them motivated to improve their own health and well-being. Classes are welcome to both SilverSneaker and YMCA Members. Come try a class today!!

SilverSneakers® I Classic (Muscle Strength Range of Motion): Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. 45 min.

SilverSneakers® II Cardio: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a standing cardio workout. After fun with non-impact aerobics choreography, we will incorporate upper body strength work with hand-held weights and elastic tubing with handles, then stretching and relaxation exercises will complete our workout. A chair is offered for support during the strength work only. 45 min.

SilverSneakers® III Yoga: Yoga Stretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Close toed shoes required. 45 min.

SilverSneakers® Splash: This total body aqua conditioning class is held in our family fun pool. It focuses on increasing agility, range of movement and cardiovascular conditioning. No swimming ability is necessary. Water shoes required, water bottle recommended. Obtain your pass from the front desk upon daily arrival. Space is limited to 15 participants per class. 45 min.

SilverSneakers classes concentrate on improving strength and flexibility.

Senior Circuit Class

This Senior Circuit Class is a specialty class designed specifically for our active older adults, both male and female. This 45 minute workout will consists of alternating stations of weights and cardio including a warm up, abs, specialty work on gate, agility and flexibility followed by a cool down and stretching. Classes will meet in the Loft on Wednesdays at 12pm on six week cycles. Any fitness level is welcome. See the current Active Older Adults Newsletter for session dates and prices.

Senior Stretch Class

This stretching class will help you move through daily life with more energy, less pain, greater ease, and better focus. We will be using techniques that release excess tension while strengthening postures that hold your body in balance. We will be getting on the floor for deeper stretches not achievable in a chair. Water Fitness Classes - Healthy Living

Water Walking

Designed for Y Member adults (18yrs+), this FREE program allows you to exercise in our natatorium’s Lazy River by taking a self-guided walk. The water’s hydrostatic pressure aids the body’s circulatory system by helping blood return to the heart, reducing swelling and encouraging fluid absorption. Additionally, this type of walking offers the benefit of 12 times the resistance of traditional land exercise. Each session is limited to 15 participants and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. No instructor is provided.

Warm Water Therapy Open Swim

Utilizing the Y’s warm water therapy pool, this program has great benefits for people with arthritis, joint issues or other ailments that sometimes prevent regular exercise. If you are unable to attend other water fitness classes, this open swim provides you with a new option for your fitness. Limited equipment will be provided and a lifeguard will be on duty during your time in the water. Of note, this pool is only available to Y Members at posted times for water exercise, therapy, rehabilitation or medical purposes.

Fire Dragon Karate (4yrs & above)
A Korean martial art that teaches empty hand and foot fighting, fighting forms, self defense and weapons. The true goal of this martial art is to use the lessons you learn in the studio to enrich every part of your life.
